Description We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Business Support professional to join our team. This role will provide essential administrative and operational support to the accounts team, ensuring the smooth running of non-chargeable activities and internal processes. Working closely with an Accounts Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining efficiency across client communications, internal coordination, and business support functions. Key Responsibilities Business & Accounts Support: • Prepare and manage engagement letters • Support the invoicing process and monitor billing schedules • Assist with accounts preparation processes, including coordinating documents for signing • Maintain accurate client records and carry out ongoing data cleansing • Produce ad hoc reports and support basic data analysis Client & Team Coordination: • Coordinate mailshots and client communications • Organise internal team meetings, including scheduling and preparation • Provide administrative support to the accounts team as required • Assist with ad hoc projects across the business Operations & Administration: • Manage incoming and outgoing post • Support general office administration and operational tasks • Ensure documentation and internal systems are kept up to date Reception Cover (Ad Hoc): • Provide occasional reception cover for lunch, holidays, and sickness • Meet and greet visitors and handle incoming calls professionally when required Key Requirements • Previous experience within an accountancy practice is highly desirable • Experience in an administrative or business support role within a professional services environment • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail • Confident communicator with a professional and personable approach • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively • Proficient in Microsoft Office Additional Requirements • Friendly, approachable, and professional • Reliable and punctual • Proactive with a “can-do” attitude • Able to work independently and as part of a team • Calm under pressure Model Office Based Salary Competitive Benefits Benefits • Company Pension Scheme • 25 days of annual leave + bank holidays • Additional annual leave days from certain levels of seniority • Ability to buy up to 5 days of annual leave to reach a maximum of 30 days per annum • Business closure over Christmas* • Life Assurance x4 annual salary • Enhanced family leave policies • Enhanced Company Sick Pay • Employee Assistance Programme – 24/7 support, free and confidential • Corporate Discounts Platform Flexible Benefits platform with ability to opt-in to various insurances (level of seniority dependent & self-funded at corporate rates) such as: • PMI single or family • Critical Illness Cover • Cash plan • Cycle to work • Eye care • Dental *subject to exceptions and business needs
